About Me

I am a Union-Educated PhD student at Computer Science Department of Stony Brook University. I joined FSL in December, 2014 and my advisor is Prof. Erez Zadok. I will be here for two years. I'm now doing research on deduplication of primary storage.

Research Projects

  • Cloud Laboratory for Computer Architecture Courses (June 2011 ~ December 2012)
  • Through our Cloud Laboratory, students can control and manage traditional hardware experimental devices and run their programs on these equipment through the network. We provide both B/S and C/S architecture for choice. Our system is now being widely used in the computer architecture courses’ education in our university.
  • Deduplication for big data protection(January 2013 ~ October 2014)
  • A deduplication framework which can be deployed in cloud data centers to strike a sensible tradeoff between elimination ration and deduplication throughput.
